Our Team
eWalker Consultants are young, energetic and experienced. Our IT security professionals have experiences in a wide range of security issues and have participated in various types of security project, including consultancy and penetration test projects for banks. Our exposure on different types of IT systems range from SME servers to mainframe and domain knowledge on various industries and this has enabled our team to refine our clients' system and network security from white hats to black hats vision. Apart from commercial purposes, we also contribute our researches to the academic field. This includes publication of new methodologies and frameworks in international conferences and journal such as Australian Digital Forensics Conference, Annual Policing Cyberspace International Summit and Annual ACM Symposium on Applied Computing Computer Forensics Track. We believe that such contributions will fuel new discussions in the field and benefit companies in the long run.
Ricci Ieong (M.Phil, CISSP, ISSAP, ISSMP, CISA, F.ISFS, CEH) - founder and Principal Security Consultant of eWalker Consulting Limited
Prior to the founding of eWalker Consulting Ltd, Ricci had over 10 years experience in IT Security industry. In 2000, Ricci joined Hewlett Packard Consulting & Integration group and founded the first HP e-Security Center (also known as Penetration Test Center) in Hong Kong. During the years atHP, he led and conducted many security assessments, IT Security Audits, penetration tests and incident handling services for HKSAR government departments, banks, and financial institutes in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region.
In 2002, Ricci was invited by Hong Kong Police Force to serve as a Computer Security expert and instructor. He had presented in courtroom as the first expert witness in Computer Crime Investigation. He was also one of the founding instructors in diploma and graduate diploma courses in computer security and forensics investigation recognized by HKSAR law enforcement team.
Ricci is also the founding member and council member of the Information Security and Forensics Society (ISFS).
HK Cheung (Ph.D., CISSP, CISA, CEH, CIFI, CHIF) - Senior Security Consultant of eWalker Consulting Limited
HK worked in the area of Operational / Technology Risk in a financial institute in Hong Kong for 5 years. Prior working as in-house Risk specialist, HK had worked more than 10 years in various services providers in the area of IT security, e.g. HP, where HK also led and conducted security assessment, IT Security Audits, and IT security project implementations for clients in Hong Kong. Furthermore, HK had also worked for the roles in application systems development, systems supports, project management, and IT management.
